hey Carl, your getting alot done. I have to laugh about your comment that things are going slowly forward. I hear ya, we are on the melting side too, 4-6 degrees C for daytime high. I managed to get the sanding of the second coat of drywall compound done. hopefully prime and paint this weekend.

I also noticed in one of your pictures how much stuff accumulates inside the garage as you work on it. I bought castors and built 2 4x8 rolling platforms works perfect. I too have the same thing happening with my stuff in the garage.

You mentioned you will be wiring the garage to the house in the spring, funny,...... me too. Have to wait til the ground thaws out

For mysterious reason, I dind't get an email about having an update on my thread... anyway sorry for the delay!

It's been pretty busy lately and a lot of stuff is getting done in the garage... I did take a quick look at your thread and you have some really nice work going on!

Yep, stuff gets tossed in the garage and there's no way to stop that unfortunately... I hate it but I just have to live with it and move the stuff when it's in the way.

As for the wiring... we should be starting this next week end!

It's been a while since my last update but some work got done!

Gypsum is almost all finished on all of the wall, the only one missing is the part where the electrical panel is! Gotta wait till it's all wired...

Did start on the floor installation by putting up some ceramic tiles under the fireplace!

As for wiring...well I wired all the alarm system and also added speaker wires in the wall at the two back wall corners!

The installation of gypsum as started on the ceiling!

Now, picture time...

Okkk! Long time since the last update... but the garage is pretty much all done now!!!
I am finishing up the upstairs as we speak and should be done in the next few days!

Sorry for that long delay but I had a lot going on and completely forgot to update my post! Oh well... here are the pics to get this thread up to date...

-Finishing the gypsum on the ceiling...

-Installed four Boston Acoustics 90W In-Ceiling Speakers... sounds great!

-Started prepping the walls for primer...

-Primer applied on the walls...

-Time for paint...

-Applied some tint to the stairs and the garage doors contours...

-Electricity passed and plugged in the house!

-Getting set up in the place...

-Finishing up the windows inside... (Framing, Moldings and Curtains)

-Corner workbench in building stage...

More in the next post... exterior siding installation!

-Just received all the cannexel siding

-Started one side...

-More work on the front now...

-Other side of the garage...

-Windows Caping all done!

-Almost done... need to install soffit and caping!

-ALL DONE!!!

First floor is almost all completed... just needs some finishing up on the corner workbench and getting all the tools set up at their right place! More pictures will be uploaded when this is all completed...

As for now, I am finishing up the second floor wall with exterior vinyl siding... Check it out!

-First side wall done...

-Started work on ceiling...

-Back wall ready for vinyl siding...

-Back wall siding being installed..

-More work on the ceiling...

-Last side wall getting vinyl siding...

-Almost all done!!

More pictures will be uploaded soon when the 2nd floor is completed and 1st floor is all set up!
