Looks like a gimmick. Cleaning those won't be fun either. Are they USA made?

Doesn't say MADE IN USA on the front label. Actually, all the cman tools with that red/white front label are made in china/taiwan.
I was wondering if they are made in the USA?

Perfect for a ***** with soft pink hands.
Harbor Freight has/had them.Doesn't one of the offbrands already make a set like this? I swear I've seen padded rubber grip wrenches like that before.
Just in time to get them shoved into someone's stocking for Christmas. Price point is under $50, etc. Its all about marketing this time of year.

One thing is for sure; they are definitely trying to expand the Craftsman line, I don't think I have seen this much expansion in awhile...
Well - technically - that would be Made in America - delivered in China.yep, and this should not be a surpprise to anyone.
before we know it, we will have to take our pregnant woman to china to give birth, so our kids will be "Made in China"

...reduces clearance. No thanks.
Sweet, they're "expanding" the line with more gimmicky ********. What craftsman needs to do is take a step backwards and focus on making quality USA tools at an affordable price. Instead of ***** grips, how about a wrench set that doesn't skip sizes.
Which set does Craftsman have that skips sizes? I agree they need to step back and regroup and cut out the gimmik tools. Just nice solid made in the USA hand tools.

Yes, and every single item involved in this expansion is made somewhere other than USA.
It's a shame, because if you look at the OEMs Sears has selected—Vaughan, Mayhew, Western Forge, Lisle, Kastar, SK, and so forth—you can clearly see that, at some point, somebody really cared about Made in the USA and went out of their way to attain it. Of course, part of it is the OEMs themselves going offshore (Danaher, Vermont American, and Irwin among them), but I can't help but think Sears management just doesn't care anymore.I would expect to see these under the evlov or companion line; I guess they are off shoring the Craftsman brand.
