Couldn't find an appropriate spot so I guess since my venting is geared towards ebay I would stick it here.
While sure it works for people of a certain ****** inclination, my guess is the following Ebay tactic has broader appeal and probably does a better job getting the attention of the target market...

Seen something similar the other week with automotive parts. The seller had his wife/gf/ or whomever holding the parts with massive cleavage showing.
I believe we need a link to seller.
Very rarely do you have an actual auction with no reserve. Most times there is a crazy reserve, high starting bid, or some crazy buy it now price. I thought ebay was for auctions.
This post is useless without a link...Seen something similar the other week with automotive parts. The seller had his wife/gf/ or whomever holding the parts with massive cleavage showing.

I recently started selling on eBay again after about 4 years off. First off, yes; seems the economy is much better, as I have been moving about 85% of my items (straight auction, no reserves, only an occasional BIN).
But secondly, I was rather miffed to see eBay is taking a percentage of the SHIPPING you charge, nevermind the redundancy of again getting a cut via PayPal. On a $300 item, eBay/PayPal took $51.24 !!

I've won 90% of my eBay auctions with one strategy. I decide the maximum I will pay for an item and then I list that amount on auction sniper with 3-5 second insertion before end of auction. That way, I don't have to be around for the end of the auction and if I don't win, I'm cool with it. I know I didn't overpay and someone else did.
How did you know my tactics. I do the same thing. Drives me nuts when people just jack up the price on the first day of auction.

I love it when peeps hit my auctions early and big, usually sets the tone of things to come. How did you know my tactics. I do the same thing. Drives me nuts when people just jack up the price on the first day of auction.
I'm not saying this is anything to write home about, but here ya go
