Foreclosures are a common theme here. Mine was a foreclosure, but it didn't have near the history of the other house. Wow. I'll consider myself fortunate.

Why should I get the epoxy coat?

The garage is the only room left in the house that is mine. The wife, kids and dog have the rest. I want them to be jealous. ;)

I know it's lame, but it's the truth.

Honey, you can't keep coming on here looking for me like this.

(Is there no place a guy can go to call his own?)

Sweetheart??? Is that you?

I thought you said you were at a conference and would be home soon?! :mad:
Damn you and your lying! I'm fed up with it and all the baloney.. Don't come back! Oh, and by the way, I'm seeing Raoul now and he doesn't need a fancy garage floor to make up for 'other short comings', if you know what I mean!

Oh oh!

Is Raoul also the person who bought you that shiny new laptop?

Wait until you see this new expoxy-coat floor! Racedeck Raoul won't stand a chance!

Well this pretty much leaves me out. I'd like to do the wifes Greenhouse floor but I don't have any funny stories to tell. Life's been pretty much a ***** to me lately, but toss my name in the hat if you would, I'd just like to win something someday.:( Here is where it would be done. You know what they say, "If momma's happy, everyones happy" :D

'Twas the night before Daytona, when all through the garage

Not a creature was stirring, not even the Dodge;

The tires were hung on the racks with care

In hopes that the sponsor would fill them with air.

The spare parts were ready all snug in the shed,

While visions of trophies danced in my head;

The wife in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,

Had just settled down for a short pre-race nap,

When out from the back there arose such a roar,

I ran to the shed and saw the bad floor.

The spare parts toppled and fell from their place

And unless I could find them there could be no race,

Then, what to my wondering eyes should appear,

But a crew from Epoxy-Coat, and all the right gear,

They gathered the parts and put them away

And said a new floor would be ready by day.

With a bottle of etching, so lively and strong,

I knew in a moment a new floor wouldn’t take long.

More rapid than Porsches the team went to work,

I stood there and watched and felt like a jerk;

They poured the new floor – all done in a flash

But it was time to go racing I really must dash.

We loaded the Dodge and took off for the track

I started the journey but had to look back,

The shed was all finished and neat as a pin

We found all the parts I knew I would win!

All through the day with race after race

I thought of my new floor - my shed’s a showplace,

So thanks to Epoxy-Coat and all they have done

Because of their great floor – I won!

So, you can see that my garage floor has taken a beating lately. I think only Epoxy-Coat can save it! :)

Hubby, you sure spend a lot of time thinking about these other guys and doing videos about them. What's a girl gotta do for some attention (and to get the garage cleaned)?!!???!!

DD564, I saw your wife with ssathre and she seems very happy. Now you're just posting for her and it's pretty sad.

I've read through the post and realized:
Formek (the sweetie) and xrdad are still the ONLY one's to have given real reasons why they DESERVE the new floor, which is what the contest is actually about.

Your videos have been very clever (did you ever find that one of us?) and I was almost impressed. Even ssather did a very funny cartoon, but it looked like a monotone commercial for Epoxy Coat and that did the company no justice at all.

Racedeck Raoul turned out to be pretty lame. His 'flooring' was actually quite 'Behr' and not very impressive. Seems an Epoxy coat floor can really make a man a man and now I'm thinking of entering the contest myself! (oh yeah.. forgot to tell you about that operation.. some other time).:beer:

Game on boys!

ahhh but i did. and there is still time left... muwahahaha

your video had me and the GF seriously cracking up last night... (your kung fu is strong, grasshopper) With all the worthy competition going on, I just wonder what everyone is going to come up with if Rugerlady (Christine) has another contest next year?!?

I may not win this contest but im having a blast in the process. And I fully expect to be invited over for a beer once the winner gets his or her floor done! :thumbup:
