I went with the EX5621 combo, but I bought it from Rockin Toolboxes off Facebook. They sell scratch and dent models and saved quite a bit. Got it about a month ago and have been very happy with it.

cnk what color did you get?
what are you storing under the top lid?

my concern was seeing what is stored in the top, tool vault 5621 uses on open
top front design but i like the extreme better.

I got black. I put my tools that came in cases on top, i.e. pass-through wrench set, hydraulic crimper, some hex-head tool sets for removing stripped hex bolts, tap & die set, etc. I actually prefer the closed top as I don't have to worry about anything rolling off the front edge. I'm 5'9" and I don't have any issues getting to anything.

TV-7217MZ specs:

TOOLBOX CONSTRUCTION
Shell Gauge 18 gauge
Drawer Gauge 20 gauge
Caster Channel Gauge 14 gauge

Seems to be pretty dang sturdy. I don't think even a Snap-on KRL is wholly 14ga. Might be a 16ga shell with 18ga drawers.

I often wonder if it's physically possible to make a tool box out of all 14ga. It would make for a very nice box.
