Hi All,
We just sold our first home which had a two car garage where I use to park the minivan, store my tools and woodworking machines. I had big plans to set it up as my dedicated wood shop but just couldn't come up with any good ideas that would allow for good project flow, and allow my wife to park her car in there all winter. I then stumbled upon GJ and now have more ideas than I know what to do with! And, lucky me, we are now building a new home with a three car garage! I'm planning to do a garage gallery thread on the build which will probably take me the good part of 2015 but the goal is to be finished before Christmas.
Utah winters can be fairly cold (avg. temps last week were in the teens) so I'm insulating all the walls and ceiling, including buying insulated doors. I've requested a gas line to the garage as well for radiant tube heat. My budget probably won't get me too far but as long as I have everything organized and functioning as I'd like I will be a happy man.
Thanks for all the great ideas and I look forward to finally being able to contribute.
This is the new house.
