Glad to see that you are making progress. The planning council can be a real experience. In the middle of my build we found out that we needed to upgrade the electrical service which requires a permit. I had to go back and apply for that. You cannot rush that process at all.
Looking forward to seeing your build.

thanks mate i cant wait till its all up and water tight but as per usal scottish weather has kicked in again raining

I was planning on setting up the shuttering at the weekend there as i only get sundays to get stuff done due to excessive work load at work the now.
But as usal Scottish weather kicks in and stops play  managed to remove the last 2 slabs And destroy the ants nest under them  A few shots off ant killer powder stoped them in there tracks.
But i did manage to cut up some 18mm ply for shuttering so did get some work done .
But as it was raining very heavy now the wife decided we should go to IKEA to get a new bed and furniture so thats how my sunday ended up
Hopefully i should get some progress this weekend as i will have saturday / sunday on it and also getting 5 tonne of type 1 ******** delivered on Friday Free of Charge the word i like :bounce:

so it is now been built back up and is looking good still got to put the windows in but i am trying to find perspex or polycarbinite for the windows as a few pains off glass got broken  Still got to pick up wood to put as the facial boards

A bit of a update today in between the rain I have now managed to get the roof rails on and facial panels on also managed to trim the roof sheet and nail it down so it is now rain proof and wind can't get under the sheet ☺
I also managed to refit the windows as well so it's now beginning to look more like a garage

need to get a lock for the side door as it's screwed shut just now
any way here is some pictures off my progress

Jeezo its been a wee while since i have done a update on here well i ve no anaged to do any work on the garage lately due to work being very busy just now but now the weather has turned nice again hopefully i will get a kick i need soon lol

Any way have had to get work done on my house roof due to being woke uop at 2.00 am in the morning with a tap tap tap noise coming from my attic so braved the weather gayle force winds and heavy rain to go get the ladder out off the garage to go up the attic to investgate so with torch in hand i found the roof light was leaking from top off the frame looked to be very rotten looking proberly been there since the house was built a long time ago lol

so the roofer came out and confirmed my worsed fear it was unreapairable so a new one has now been fitted all dry again thank god but when he was up there ridge beams were all loose and needed re securing so asked them to do that as well going by how slack they were suprized they were still on also lead flashing round chimney brest was needing replaced so all that has been done suppose its peice off mind that its all repaired up there now .:bounce:

Also when i bought the house the wall harling was very worn with the stones falling off and very weathered so the roofers put me on to a good builder to do the harling so i have had all this done so house looks really good now so my bank account has tacken a hell off a beaten just now lol

Well A Long Time Has Passed by now and i still have done very little work to my garage
and now there is a kitchen in my garage waiting on me getting round to starting that .
I have managed to put the chippie stones up the side off the garage to blind off the dirt eyesore lol gave me a push in the rite direction. i also managed to bag 15 x 3x2's slabs off freecycle site and 35 2x2's slabs off the same site so will need to start preping the area infront off the garage door for the slabs now as well as moving entrance gates as well

Well its been a little while since I have done a update on this thread but I now have something worth updating lol

As you can see I have finally got my 6 ft fence up I bought all the stuff to do it last year and never got time to get it built but I must say it looks really good and the wife is happy now she has more privacy now so next project is to paint it and start on the slabbing in front off the garage hope the weather stays good cause this year we have had hardly any good days to get on and get jobs done as soon as you get ready to do something it turns nasty but hay ho it's scotland I live in lol
