Cool site. I am sure I will get a bunch of usefull infor from here.
Anyway we obtained a house very cheap from a relative who passed away. So we decided to renovate the house. There was a one car horse barn on the property that was taken down to make room for my new nest. I was allowed up to 25% of square footage of property for secondary building. Well, it helps to have an acre lot in the village
. Of course I went with something I could afford. The bad part was that the village doesn't allow pole barns so I had to go the pricy route. Framing should start this week. The footer is 24" by 1", with a 3' by 10" wall. I also ran utilities under the slab area for future hook up.
Its 32 wide, 42 deep. Front two left bays are for daily driver parking. Right bay and rear three bays are for toys. The bus belongs to the chruch next door, but gives you a feel for size. There will be a small second floor room too. I'll keep you folks updated.
