Hi All
Been around for a little while and love this site. I am starting a new project in MA. I had two sheds and was running out of space. The wife did not want a third shed (can't imagine why
) So we decided to get rid of both and build one large building.
We looked at prefab garages and stickbuilt and really did not see anything we really liked - we wanted something different and did not want it to just look like an extension of the house. Thanks to Bull and others on the site we saw Geobarns. That was pretty much it.
We met with George and came up with some ideas and the cost difference between what we were looking at and what george offered was not that much more. But what you get is a true standout building. Go to www.geobarns.com or seach for geobarns on this site and you will see what I am talking about.
We were looking at 24x24 but thanks to this site we have decided on 24x30.
Digging started yesterday and foundation will be in the next couple of days. We then have to wait for george's crew to start in March. It's going to be a long three months of anticipation - but I am sure it will be worth it.
We are upgrading to 200 amp in the house and running 100 amp to the barn.
Stay tuned...
