Hey folks. I'm Hewey, live in the Blue Mountains (2 hrs west of Sydney). Bought our first house back in October, so still settling thing and sorting out those little things when you buy something house shaped.

Had a few different old cars in the past - '75 Holden Torana, '72 beetle, '71 XY Ford wagon, '62 EK Holden Ute, '61 EK Holden wagon. Sold the old cars for the house deposit, realistically it'll be more than a few years before I have another old car, which is probably good for my wallet!

Love kustom kulture, lowbrow art, rusty antiques, pinups, vintage architecture and design etc. Got a blog which I cover the random range of stuff that I love http://kustomkultureaustralia.com/. Also love my bikes (the ones with pedals), still got the hardtail mountain bike I got for my 16th birthday, a newer mountain bike, and a few cruiser projects. I've got an awesome wife who's into the same things, in fact she was more disappointed about selling our old cars than I was.

That'll do for now. Currently planning a shed/sheds for our new place, looking forward to having a place to work again after moving twice in the past year and now not having a shed or garage.

Hewey: nice first post and sounds like you will be a great addition to our group.

ask questions if you have any or enjoy the reading and post questions there or share your wisdom.

Sorry to hear you needed to sell all your cool old cars, but buying a house is a nice upgrade.

cheers
