It sounds like you may have condensation between the mat and floor or your mat is leaking water when you pull in after a rain. You may want to install a Drymate mat instead. It still holds water and has a waterproof bonded backing.
John & all: Although I had the epoxy floor done professionally... It didn't hold up. Tires pull-up the product, discolored by the sun's UV, scratches too easily for me... It has been 10 years and now time for a change.
