Hey guys,
I didn't see an Intro. section and I figured since I will be spending the majority of my time in this section, I would introduce myself here.
Basically, I'm just starting my own tool collection. My pops is a professional mechanic who owns his own shop, so I have already had a couple hand-me-downs as well as bought my own tools, so far.
The cars that demand these tools are my 2002 Twin-Turbo Corvette and a recent daily-driver addition, a 2000 Volvo S70. Also, I do side work on friend's cars when I am not too busy in the classroom or lab.
I have a couple pics of my toolbox below. This box has been sitting at my dad's shop for decades. He actually took it on a trade from one of his past employees that owed him money. He was going to throw it out when I told him that I would take it and clean it up. It does have one bad drawer on the bottom roller that is missing a rail, so if anyone has advice on where to possibly get this fixed or a part, that would greatly be appreciated. Anyway, this is a somewhat old Snap-On bottom roller and top box with a Matco side box. I had a local body shop friend paint it for me and it turned out to be a great first toolbox.
