What model m18 impact are you having problems with? How old is it? What batteries are you using with it, and what are you attempting to use it for that you feel its under performing? Also, what broke? There are a ton of people on here using Milwaukee impacts, and most are very impressed with what they get. Thats not to say you might not be having an issue, but it might be something people can help you with. Unfortunately there is no Milwaukee rep on this board, but there are enough people using those impacts to be able to let you know if something just isnt right. That said - everything has its limits..
The 2763 was the first one I had issues with
Here’s both of them in this video. I sent it in four time and four times it broke within two weeks of them “fixing it” by broke I mean same issue as before:
Got tired of warranting that so bought the new one.
2767 was dead on arrival never fired up and so I just exchanged it at Home Depot. It’s never had its “1400” pounds. I’m using 5.0 batteries in fairness they’re probably 2-3 or more years old. They hold a charge pretty well, no crazy decrease in run time. Maybe the batteries are old, or aren’t big enough for the impact. The batteries also feel like they’re about to fall out, they wobble around like crazy.
My m12 fuel impact driver has been decent. Can’t complain, same with m12 drill and m18 drill. Tho the drills only get busted out every now and then. Not used constantly
M12 fuel 3/8 ratchet is a joke. Bought it for the power increase, but my snap on 3/8 just walks all over it in power. It’s a gutless turd IMO No doubt. Using a 6.0 battery even. It’s also much slower than snap on, but that’s just nit picking. Also recently now when it’s upside down about 1/2 the time it’ll just do nothing when the triggers depressed. I’m kind of sick of Milwaukee tools. Closest repair center is one hour away and I’m tired of going there.
This is my experience. I know a lot of people love their stuff, and I really want to join you. But my problems have gotten very annoying.
