Were you looking for complete sets only or would you also like to have just pieces?

I have a set of OLD APCspark plug sockets, in the original wooden box. Notably, this set is dated...which I believe is uncommon. This set is dated by virtue of the fact that the original paper label is still intact on the box, listing the makes and models of cars that the set has spark plug sockets for. Here is a photo of the set:

The paper label on front lists cars from the 1920's up to 1932, but nothing newer than '32. So I think that pretty well tells us the approximate year this set was made.

This was among my dad's stuff, and he was an antique car collector all the way back to the 1950's. No telling how long he had it.

So, is this the kind of thing you're looking for...or do you prefer regular socket sets, instead of spark plug sockets?

Geez, OneBad...I had never thought of selling it. Let me think on that a bit. In the meantime, there are more photos of this set in the "General Tool Discussion" forum. I posted photos just for tool-fetish guys like me to enjoy.

I have an SK 1/4 SAE ratchet set with an extension. PM me and I'll get you pics. Still not sure if I want to sell but it's a box set and because of its age I feel wrong getting rid of the box.

Hello to you all. I have an old Charles Miller socket set in a wooden box. There is a label on inside of top showing the components of the set and a title name: " NO. 77 SET " . I believe this is a precursor to similar sets manufactured by the Syracuse Wrench Company in the early 1900's and sold as horseless carriage tool kits. It was given to me by my 89 year old uncle who says it has been just lying around in his pole barn for more than 50 years. He said it belonged to his grandfather who never owned an automobile and made a living moving houses with teams of work horses. He may have used the tools for parts of that job. If there is any interest in acquiring this set of tools, let me know. I have no idea what the value of this set may be, but am open to offers and suggestions. I would like to see somebody get some enjoyment from it, if it has any collectible value.
