I have a set of OLD APCspark plug sockets, in the original wooden box. Notably, this set is
dated...which I believe is uncommon. This set is dated by virtue of the fact that the original paper label is still intact on the box, listing the makes and models of cars that the set has spark plug sockets for. Here is a photo of the set:
The paper label on front lists cars from the 1920's up to 1932, but nothing newer than '32. So I think that pretty well tells us the approximate year this set was made.
This was among my dad's stuff, and he was an antique car collector all the way back to the 1950's. No telling how long he had it.
So, is this the kind of thing you're looking for...or do you prefer regular socket sets, instead of spark plug sockets?
