I sold my 2767 because it was too damn bulky/heavy, wanted tri-lights and the Mid Gen3 was doing everything I wanted.

This might make me ditch my M12 Stubby and get the 2967 and a Forge battery at some point...

I sold my 2767 and 2 5.0s to a new kid in the shop I'm at who's just starting off. So I get the upgrade and help out someone who could use it. Win/win.
Wow - no stock anywhere around here...

I don't see your point. The M12 stubby does one type of job and the High-Torque does completely other type of work. For car top of engine work you can't beat the M12 stubby. Small, light and really powerful for the size.

I currently have a Mid Gen3, which isn't really much bigger than the Stubby and far grumpier (it came later than the Stubby). So I'd lose a bit of flexibility and weight savings for a grump machine.

At one point I had everything - lol:

Sold the as-new 2767 here on GJ, and sold the Mid to a good friend. I really wanted to tri-lights and the Mode 1 on the Mid. The Gen2 was essentially a baby 2767, which still yielded a sorta sizeable package.

But in use, the Stubby and the Mid Gen3 are pretty close... (Stubby on the right)

The problem is Mid Gen3 does so well for me I'm not sure I can really justify the Gen3 HiTorque.

My parents were full of $hit, procrastination in my case has paid off. Never pulled the trigger on the Gen 2 high torque. Just need to wait a little bit longer for the package deals to roll out...

I rarely use the 2767 because it is too heavy and unbalanced. It does do the job when I occasionally run into something stubborn, but if the 2967 is heavier still, it’s a deal killer.

Like I said, though, the 2767 has all the beans I have needed so far, so I’m not in the market anyway.

Saving my money for a Swag finger press brake.

i have the gen 3 mid, the stubby and the gen 1 hi torque. unless its a heck of alot of more power I dont see a reason to bother. the hi torque is so large its hard to fit in spots.

frankly i find the 3/8 stubby the most useful. my only wish is they would make the stubby as compact as the makita, its quite big for its size overall.

My mouse has been hovering over the "Add to Cart" button over the last day or so...

And I'm not going to do it.

The Mid Gen2 (which is the latest version I think. My understanding is the Gen3 in this size is the "Compact" - essentially the Stubby for M18) gets everything I've needed. I like the idea of one. I don't need one.

I like the headlights. I like the tapered snout. Wonder what the balance is like? My 2767 is a ***** when it comes to balance and ergo. Honestly I prefer oldschool air tools as opposed to the 2767, but what it lacks in balance it makes up for in convenience.

I'd guess being a little lighter and a lot shorter will help it. TTC gave it a decent wrist-breaking score (for a High Torque).

I think I killed my old 2663 working on heavy equipment yesterday. It's 12 years old and I've gotten a lot of use out of it, so I'm not complaining. Looks like I'm going to upgrade to the 2967; will be nice to have something more powerful and more compact.
