New Morgan Vise

Hey guys, just picked up this little guy and I wanted to see if anyone has any information on it. I have searched around and can't seem to find anything on a Morgan without the city listed on it. Thanks

Not a clue....looks like a handy vise though. Sort of like the smaller Columbians.

I got it to mount on my reloading bench. It is the perfect size. Hopefully I can find out a little more info on it.

I can see where you are coming from in terms of the lead screw's "inadequacies", but alot of the allure of vises also come from the make, vintage, rarity, and cool factor. Size/weight is usually the biggest decider in gauging value, but most people looking for a vise for the garage will be fine with a 4" 50 lb'r.

To me, it's a cool looking Morgan probably from the 50's. May not be rare and on the smaller side, but it's still a cool older vise. You got three of the four points I give these "essential securing tools" we so adore on the site

I like the design and while I'm not big on the exposed screw, there is a place for everything and a reloading bench is a perfect one! Plans for a resto or put it to use as is?

I am going to start the restoration today. I am not to worried about the exposed screw, because as you stated, I think it will be perfect for my bench. Oh, and the price was right.
