Hey,Matt,
I've PM'd you a couple times but never heard back,so I'll do it this way. I'd like 2 sets any color or no color is okay ,too.I didn't see my name on any of the batch lists so I hope this doesn't screw things up. Man you have built yourself quite a little business, keep it up and you might have to go on "Shark Tank" to buid a factory. Good luck.

Mike

Sorry about that mike. I went though a stage when none of my pms to people were going through and I didn't know it. I'll get you on batch 10 but it won't be too long of a wait I'm getting these out asap

I worked on a welded wire plant, never in one. But it looks a lot like a section of dish drain rack so there would be a temptation for me to look for a short run plant to run a typical section off then coated and snip to length putting vinal caps on. But,, as I see now its all hand made, personal marketed, that adds to the cool factor.

Nothing more than a mini dish drying rack and they make them almost that small. I have way to many pliers to waste that much space in a drawer for them. I would need a tool box dedicated to pliers if I used these racks. I have over 120 pairs in different drawers. I don't want to grab the business end of a piers. I want to grab the handle. They are backwards for my liking.

What do I know. I spent 2 years in design school.

Start your own thread and display some of your designs. We'll evaluate how you spent your two years.

Well, I have spent 25+ years as an industrial designer for PetroChem, but I don't have a better idea for a plier rack. Besides I think it is a very practical & clever design Matt has. Holding pliers by the handle makes sense, it is the only thing different pliers have in common. The handles will not snag like perhaps a pair of Channel Locks would if held on the working end, but we would all love to see your design.

Yeah but he spent two years in design school and has more pliers than you and is much more smarter than you and will disagree with you for agreeing with him and he is the best and he has boats and mansions and castles with moats and dragons and has designed spacecraft and and and and

Thanks for the support guys! Monday is the day I'm going to start doing work on these racks!

For batch 2 and 3. Had a small delay at the powder coater so they didn't ship yesterday. They will go out Monday. Thanks for being patient with me guys! I'm having a blast!!

I'll take one set, in custom color green, or something else except for black.

Thanks,

Chris

I'm in for an orange set. Just let me know when it's PayPal time.

And don't let the naysayers wear you down. I'm a lot older than you, and if I listened to all the 'really smart people' who tried to talk me out of all the stuff I've done, I wouldn't have done any stuff.

Matt - have you given any thought to shipping them bare metal to those of us that are interested in less popular colors so we could have them powder coated ourselves? Just a thought.

Lol. I am the opposite. I ordered two racks, counted my pliers and had to start ordering more pliers.

I want this for my home roll cart. Now I have to run home and measure to see if it will fit as I want it.

Yes I will gladly ship them raw. However I do barter with my powdercoater for welding so I cannot offer any price break. Sort of like ordering a cheeseburger with no mustard. ;)

Can you do powder coated orange?

I will be doing orange, green, red, and blue after the black orders are fulfilled

Hey, RCStocker doesn't have to get over it because he just got himself banned. I wonder which of his nasty posts finally caught up with him. Good thing that he will have more time for design school....
