I noticed today that Rustoleum has a floor coating called Rock Solid polycuramine.

Anyone here have any experience with this product? I looked at the package and it's a 2 part coating and there's no mention of water clean up. They claim it's much tougher than epoxy.

My opinion of Rustoleum products is based on experience with their "Restore" coatings. Google it.

I'll take a mud floor before their product would go down

Some of the reviews say it goes on pretty thin. Something like 3 mil. And the 20x stronger than epoxy was based on 1 part epoxy PAINT.

Now that I am in the office, I am able to confirm that it is the 'Rock Solid Floors' brand that used to be very active on the forum http://rocksolidfloors.com/ I do not know if they have changed the formula or not, but the product used to be decent stuff. Different from their Epoxy and epoxy pro stuff.

We did a complete breakdown of this product. You can read about it here.

We also cover why Rust-Oleum is involved with RockSolid. Polycuramine is a blend of polyurethane, polyurea, and epoxy which RockSolid claims gives you all the benefits of each product.

While it sounds like the perfect answer to floor coatings - it isn't. But, it does take the inexpensive home improvement floor coatings to a new level.
