Couldn't find super lube anywhere in town. Coated the 1/2 inch with white lithium its all I have. Didn't do anything. Put some amsoil marine grease on my 3/8. Got it on every tooth and the pawls but not packed. Still sounds dry to me.

I like RLL, but it seeps like crazy. I've come to prefer a thin coat of superlube on fine tooth ratchets.
That's what I was wondering about. Wouldn't that stuff seep out and make a big mess?
This variation? What about MMO? Sorry if this has been answered in this thread already. I'm just emerging from the other side of China v. Taiwan (hopefully).
I flirted with the girl at the register today and ended up paying $2.17 for 1/2" drive long flex head. Feels pretty good, but I have yet to use it. Just for size comparasing I put Snap-On F936.

How did you end up paying only $2.17?
Picked up the new 3/8" composite wrench. Harbor Freight has a real gem; perfect length and good quality construction. Can't wait to see 1/4" and 1/2" models.
I literally did nothing more than flirt with a girl and exchanged numbers. I came to the register, she scanned the ratchet, entered something in the computer and said $7.**. I was already pretty happy about it, I told her "Thank you so much!". I was about to swipe my card and he goes, "Hold on.". Scanned some coupon under the register and my total ended up being $2.17.

Nothing feels as good to me as the craftsman slim line ratchets. I would not gamble on the hf ratchets at 50 dollars when I can get a set of slim lines for 60.
this thread is so f'd up.
does anyone really know or care what this thread is about it is about anymore?![]()
you would think by this time someone would have some real world experience but i guess not. i tried to impart some but that did not work out so well.![]()

I've been on the hunt this morning for flex head ratchets. Stumbled across this thread looking for Armstrong ratchets.
Anyway, these look eerily similar to gear wrench, basically saying Pittsburg on the handle instead of gear wrench. And also looks similar to my buddies SO flex head lol.
Might give them a shot for the price can't go wrong
Edit: I guess I should have read the beginning of the thread, and not the last page.

.....when the fastener requires less torque, choking up on the ratchet handle is what I've always done and Im sure some of you do too.
