Glad to see these, those 24 tooth torque wrenches of theirs are a pain in the *** in confined spaces with that huge swing arc. Count me in if they release a 1/2" model.

I almost bought a Proto 3/8, but I ended up going with SK because I wanted one that started at 10lbs.
I just looked your wrench up to be sure. Clicker type torque wrenches are virtually always of the stated accuracy from 100% down to 20% even if the scale goes lower. Below that the spring is so slack that it is not possible to certify the accuracy. That means your 100 to 10ft lb wrench is only reliable down to 20 ft lbs. Right off Amazon: + or - 3% from 100% to 20% of full scale. I could not find it on the SK site. To get into that 10 ft lb range you probably want an in. lb. wrench. When they calibrate them they are checked at 20%, 100% and some intermediate value.

I actually counted on that. 😉 I wanted something that can do minimim 20-30 ft lbs. I read about that accuracy thing with torque wrenches and figured ok. Am I supposed to get something in the 10 ft lbs range so that I can make sure I can reliably measure 20-30? And so I jumped on that one.

Good to hear it. When you said 10 lbs, from a 10-100 torque wrench, I was concerned that it would not give you what you needed.
