It was a lot of work but I hope it will last some time. This was from Direct color.

srleen2: I can't speak for the OP but with our similar products, using a good sealer can range from less than 1.00 psqft to 1.30 psqft.

Always want to use a sealer worthy of garage traffic and chemicals to protect the art-work.

Would acid stain and a good sealer be appropriate for a covered concrete patio that might see blown in rain? Slippery when wet?

kmoon - the floor looks great.

Dc73 I first started with buffer and diamond head on it then finished with 80 grit. I needed to level some trial lines. I then sprayed the acid on then waited 24 hours or so, then mopped with neutralizer. I waited 2 days before I sprayed 5 gallons 2-3 coats of sealer. I have with buffer rental 825.00 in this 1200 sq feet shop. I still need to wax it.

I did 1200sf of acid stained concrete in my old place. I ended up applying the acid twice,, the 2nd time at a higher strength to get the color I wanted. I sealed it with the recommended sealer. It held up well except where my desk chair set. It wasn't a roller chair and the legs eventually wore through the acid stain in that area.
