I doubt that Williams will be selling dual 80s. But I'd love to be wrong. Well, if they do, they'll most likely be at a similar price level to the SO 100T models to not steal market from SO; so, they won't be a deal at all. Kinda like how the Proto 90T ratchets can cost more than the same Mac model, which is insane.
I also don't buy that SO discontinued the old-style hard handles because of a vendor issue like bankruptcy, or whatever. Typically, SO would own the tooling to make the handles, even if it was done at an outside vendor, so they could just transfer that tooling to another vendor; this is the norm, and it allows the customer to not be held hostage for exactly this issue, or if a vendor cannot meet delivery quantities that were agreed upon in their contract because they're incompetent. It's possible that the tooling is worn out, and/or that the majority of their recent sales are for the newer style of soft/hard handles and they decided to just focus on that design. Regardless of the GJ opinion, or whatever justification, the reality is that most of the current screwdriver market offerings are no longer the hard plastic style, and I'd expect ratchets to be the same.
