So we had an awesome SO guy, always had lower than MSRP prices and reasonable weekly payments. Then for some reason SO decided to rezone the routes, and literally put the line right smack dab in my dealership lot. So us at Subaru got a new driver and Nissan, Chevy and Toyota get to keep the old guy.
This new guy is like a SO Kool Aid drinker. He is young and has no real concept of how working as a tech is, including dead weeks with barely any flagged hours. Everything I ask for prices on he gives me MSRP, I mean identical to www.snapon.com prices.
Plus, another tech missed one payment with the old SO guy, like 6 months ago, and the guy never gave him a hard time, but this new guy told this tech that if he didn't make up the payment right that week that he would have to go into collections and maybe take one of the tools back. Mind you, this is after we pulled a week where most of us didn't even see 20 hours.
The old SO guy stops by the Nissan service area (same building as us) on Thursdays and this guy for us on Fridays. It's so frustrating...I want the old guy back.
