New to me compressor

My brother in law gifted me this compressor in his move. Sounds like a few leaks coming from fittings and regulator.

Thinking about replacing the regulator setup. Any suggestions?

Anything else you’d recommend doing?

drain the tank regularly... beyond that not much you can do to it.

Made in usa that's good the one I bought is a craftsman pro 25 gallon made by devilbiss says assembled in usa of global components lol it also has leaks in the line coming from pump into tank and recently the drain valve started leaking keeps dripping water goes to 150psi and the regulator don't work so my air tools really scream worries me about blowing seals in the tools running them that high.

Whatever you do, don't take that black plastic cover off of the bottom part of the pump

Short answer: no.

If you want to step up a bit, look for a 20-30 gallon two-cylinder splash-lubricated compressor. You can find them used for $50-150. There are endless threads on this forum regarding compressors - grab your favorite beverage and start reading.

If that one works, keep the tank drained and use it. Don't expect it to do continuous-duty (where you are using a high-flow air tool for several minutes at a time) however - that will shorten its life dramatically. But for light-duty use, it will be fine.
