I just bought a 10 ton portable hydraulic kit for $75 complete. It is the same one here.

http://www.harborfreight.com/catalo...n+Heavy+Duty+Portable+Hydraulic+Equipment+Kit

I was curious what other stuff I could hook up to this pump. I wasn't looking to buy this thing and have never seen this kit before.

This guy was selling a running 100k BTU forced air furnace for $75. I jumped on that the second I saw it. He was about 45 min away from me. I needed that for my garage this winter so I can stop buying kerosene @ $5.25 a gallon! I already have gas lines run out there since it is detached. He was about to post the hydraulic kit to craigslist too and asked me if I wanted it. He put together all the different stuff. As soon as I saw all the stuff it could do I jumped on it. I got both the furnace and the kit for for $140. I couldn't take the money out fast enough.

Anyway, where do I find attachments for this kit? I do not see them by themselves, but I see other kits that have attachments that can do different things. They pull stuff together with hooks, where this one only spreads stuff apart, and they both use the same setup from what it looks like. I dont know if there is a certain type or brand this has to work with or if most hydraulic attachments from similar kits will hook right up. Any info provided or other ways of using this I may not have thought about would be appreciated too.

I have the 10 ton; needed it for body work on a truck. Works great.
The thread and style of adapter is a fairly common type. I bought a foot pump from northern and it plumbs together perfextly

Looks like all the chinese ones are the same thing. I think they are interchangeable. Like others said you could look for used ones, call HF or ask NT but multiple companies make them. Sounds like you want a pull back ram.

You got it. I found pull back rams for $50 on Amazon. I also was not sure if they made the Jaws/clam that works in reverse. Something to press smaller items together instead of spread them apart with a similar design. Figured if they make something like that it would be nice when welding to get that pressure on things sometimes before I tack the part in place. Sometimes normal clamps just don't do it or are too cumbersome for a spot I need to get to. I also bend clamp and vice handles regularly.
