I don't make my living anymore using my tools. So some years ago I sold off the main body of my tool collection.
Just recently I have decided to start purchasing some minor hand tools and try to build up a semi decent set of basic hand tools.
I have owned a lot of the higher end truck tools such as Snap on etc...
I really like the quality of their tool as well. What I don't like are the price tags.
I have gone ahead and started to build back up with mostly gearwrench and Tekton. I have a few others as well but it has to this point been mostly those two brands. I am personally very happy with what I'm seeing come with the gearwrench brand but not so much at all withe tekton.
I would like to hear some input on these tool brands and I would also like to know some other brands of tools that aren't crazy expensive but are of decent durable quality. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
