Lighting has been half *** installed for now. I used this for ceiling lights too.

The led strips i bought come in 2x 16’ rolls with a power supply. The metal channel is an steel drywall stud for basements, i bought it from menards.


A little paint, double sided 3m tape, led strip lights.










There super bright

Consider a 'tongue' either bolted to the benchtop (as I've done) or on one end, or a trailer hitch receiver, that you can mount your vise on. I find it helpful to be have the vise sticking out off the bench and being able to move around my work piece even though I've got a swivel base.

Couple things i did

Bug zaper next to the light..



Paper towel holder, radio and bluetooth adapter its a esinkin and works amazing



I am thinking about a 2’ deep L shaped shelf above the wall cabinets for better storage.

Maybe paint the cabinets an enamel to get rid of the 70’s kitchen look. JMO of course.

Countersunk bolt heads from the underside will be a future upgrade.
