Is there any particular reason why you can't purchase individual pieces (ie: upper wall cabinets or tall lockers) in red?

Or is that only a Canadian website/distributor issue? The larger sets are all available in grey or red but the individual pieces only grey.

NewAge is stocking the individual cabinets in gray only. That's for the bold series cabinets. The Pro series individual cabinets are available in gray, red or platinum.

Why? Maybe it's because they don't sell enough of the red bold cabinet sets to justify stocking the individual pieces?

You could ask NewAge directly.:beer::beer:

Didn't read all 11 pages but did want to share a couple before/after of my set up.

Dylan,

Follow the link you supplied and play the video. Here's a screen shot of how the adjustable shelves work. Let the audio play and you'll find the shelves can be adjusted up to 18" from the ceiling.

NewAge is adding accessories to fill customer's needs. They changed their website to show 50% off accessories like lights and backsplashes when bundled with sets. This is the same price as ShopStorageCabinets.com (my site's) price.

If you want to purchase accessories separate from a set, the retail price is twice as much as if you bought them with a set. This saves space on a website's backside by not having as many variables per set.

And I know we're all looking to reduce our website's backside.

NewAge Cabinets Feet and parts

Hi all, Just bought a 12 piece NewAge PRO cabinet set(Platinum) that I mounted on the wall. I have 6 sets of the feet and hate to recycle them. I also have several sets of the drawer dividers that I don't need and the workbench support brackets. I live near Portland Oregon, if anyone wants them let me know. Chuck

Those are the Pro 3.0 wall lockers, which I believe are 36". The 42" wide cabinets are newer.

How do you like the 42" wide cabinets compared to the older more narrow Pro 3.0 version? I'm looking to pick up 3-4 myself.

Thanks.

NewAge has been selling what they call Bold Project Center sets. These have a 62" wide by 16" deep tool cabinet and 2 door base cabinet in one piece. The project center cabinet was packed inside a 42" wide tall locker cabinet. They still sell this as a 2 piece set. They just started selling them separately.

Turns out two of the 42" cabinets will fit in the same space as 3 of the 28" in wide Pro base cabinets. Who knew?

Now that the math lesson is over, and we all now know that 2 x 42 = 3 x 28, why not make 42" wide cabinets in the Pro line?

The 42" tool cabinet solves the "hey, my long handled breaker bar doesn't fit" and matches up with other brands on the market. Yes casters are available to make a roll-a-round tool cabinet.

The new 42" two door base cabinet will fill the space under an 84" worktop. Matching 42" wall cabinets will line up well between Locker cabinets.

These cabinets give you more options to fit your garage dimensions.

But wait there's more!

These are the new Bold 36" wide wall cabinets. Because 2 x 36 = 3 x 24, (I know more math) They can mount above a 72" worktop.

NewAge is also selling Pro and Bold Wall Racks. They have wide grid shelves and solid ends and match up with the locker cabinets.

The Bold wall rack comes in Black with 3 shelves. Pro wall racks have 4 shelves and comes in Black and White to match the cabinet boxes.

The Bold line of cabinets is now available with Platinum doors and drawers with white cabinet boxes. Just like the Pro line.

I'm looking to create a base with a worktop to create storage and work surface in my garage. I have 74 inches to work with and I was thinking of connecting a 42 inch base and a 28 inch base to create a 70 inch total base with a bamboo worktop. Does anyone know if New Age makes a worktop that will accomplish this? These are the base cabinets I'd like to use.

Worktops for NewAge Pro cabinets come in these sizes:

24" x 24" x 1-1/4" to fit in the corner space when using a corner wall cabinet
24" x 42" x 1-1/4" to fit over one 42" wide base cabinet
24" x 56" x 1-1/4" to fit over two 28" wide base cabinets
24" x 84" x 1-1/4" to fit over three 28" wide base cabinets or two of the 42" wide base cabinets

Bold worktops come in these sizes:

21" x 21" x 1" to fit in the corner under a corner wall cabinet
48" x 18" x 1" to fit over two 24" wide base cabinets
72" x 18" x 1" to fit over three 24" wide base cabinets

Hope this helps

Thank you for the information. I would probably still do the 42" and 28" base and source the top myself.

Durham Manufacturing builds industrial material handling cabinets. The model your quoting is made of 12 gauge metal and weights 619 pounds. It's like apples and oranges dude.

NewAge's model 52003 Split base cabinet has two pull out bottom drawers. One side has 24 bins for small parts and the other side has a garbage can.

I already know they are different gauge specs, I was asking if you know if they are bring out bin storage into storage cabinets or not.

Yeah I saw the split base cabinet, Ideally I prefer that format, but the two bottom drawers are just normal open doors with shelf storage.

I think I will have to look at getting split setup of products for my garage and just paint them to match.

I presume the answer is no for each, if so no problem.

The split cabinet has one full width top drawer, the two bottom drawers pull out, one side has bins on a louvered panel the other side has space for a garbage can. Here's better picture.

You can purchase louvered panels and mount them anywhere and have hanging bin storage. The Pro series tall locker cabinets have a double sided door to mount the louvered panels. The only problem would be interference with the shelves. You could not use the shelves and mount a louvered panel to the back of the locker cabinet.

LPW-17.25X64-95-web.jpg

17-1/4" x 64" would fit on each of the tall locker doors. You'd have to be careful not to overload the door hinges.

34-1/2" x 64" would fit on the back of the tall locker cabinet.

I this what you're asking for? :beer::beer:

Does anyone have pictures or video of the Pro series tool cabinets in use, with the drawers filled with tools?
How has this tool cabinet functioned for tool storage?

I see lots of beautiful pictures of these cabinets in people's garages, but very little of the cabinets loaded up and used.

I would like to store all of my hand tools in the 5 drawer tool cabinets, and get rid of my Craftsman tool chest.
I should be able to fit all of my cordless power tools in the deeper bottom drawers.

This is the set I'm looking at:

Pro cabinets installed

Ordered 4/11, received and installed 4/22. The packing folks do some serious work! I have a ton of styrofoam to get rid of. I would suggest having an exterminator hit the factory. Found a bunch of tiny freeloaders in the units :shocking:
A couple tips, 1) take all the drawers out prior to moving cabinets around. Your back will thank you. 2) When installing feet, run them in all the way then back them out an inch and level from there. Gives you more up and down leeway.
Only damage was self inflicted. Installer (me) managed to put a nice scratch in the bamboo countertop. All that cardboard and I didn’t bother to grab some. Now I have to learn bamboo repair
Should be a way to note mounting style when ordering. I have enough hardware leftover to start my own store.
Now to get busy and start organizing (after a session with my inversion table. That stuff is heavy!).

NewAge packs the hardware at the factory for all variations of installation. You did bolt the cabinets to each other?:beer::beer:

I bought the Pro 10 unit set from Costco and two 56” metal slatwall backsplashes separately. My garage has a “ledge” at floor level that goes up about 14” and comes out 3-4” from the wall. Since I didn’t want the wall-mounted cabinets to be set so far back, and I also wanted to attach them to the side of the tall cabinets, I “built out” my wall on the studs using two stacked 2x4s. This took a fair amount of prep and I learned that nothing is square in my garage, but I think the results are quite good.

One set of cabinets was made in 2018, the other in 2019 and there appears to have been a small hardware change between them, which meant that I needed a different size wrench between the years. A minor annoyance though.

So, one issue cropped up. In the 36” cabinet, I tried to install the hangars for the coat rod but the clips in the front of the cabinet sit flush with the cabinet wall and don’t allow the hangar to slide behind them. The rear clips are fine. I tried calling support but couldn’t quite communicate the issue to the young man with the accent so I tried e-mail with pics. I still don’t think they understand the problem.
Anybody else with similar issues?

I had a similar issue but a rubber mallet and some percussive maintenance solved it for me. Is your cabinet leveled properly?

Just discovered these NewAge cabinets and am thinking about them for my two parking spaces in my condo underground garage. (Currently just old plywood cabinets at the front of the spaces.)

I only have 77.5" of height though, so the Pros are out because they're too tall. So I'm looking at the Bold sets which should fit (have 241" width, so plenty of room for a good set). But all the Bolt drawers seem to have castor wheels, are there any without castors or is there a solution there? I don't want something that could be easily wheeled away.

Sorry not the best pic but you can see the existing cabinets in the back.
