These look like nice cabinets, where are they manufactured?
From what I read it is a Canadian company, but built in China.I believe a foreign country ........ Canada!
I noticed in the performance plus details it states " can be purchased fully welded". What comes into play here, more or less shipping costs? How much of a difference does it make when they are welded verses bolted? Thanks

What kind of quality differences are we talking b/w the pro and the performance and performance plus? Because I'm not really a fan of the diamond plate look.
I have been looking for a while and am narrowed down to New Age and Ulti-mate

Has anyone used the Performance NewAge cabinets? For $1000 on their year end clearance, you can get a very nice set, but it's 24gauge, so I'm afraid it's going to be too thin.

I guess it depends on what you use the cabinets for. If you're storing sports equipment and car cleaning supplies the 24 gauge would work for you. If you store chain saws and a drawer full of all your hand tools? I have a 10" miter box and a small table saw in my cabinets.
The End of Year Sale I'm running is on Performance Plus Cabinets, that's the heavier line of cabinets.
Search for NewAge Cabinets on Garage Journey and you'll find comments from customers who have purchased either the light or heavier line.

Thanks for the reply!
NewAge is having a big sale on their own site, I'm sure you're aware. I know your sale is really good, but their Performance line came in cheaper then your sale.
For example, the Performance 26239 8-piece set is on sale for $999. I may be leaning toward Ultimate Garage Pro or Saber.

Very helpful. The reviewer must have spent $20k on those. He didn't occur to be overly thrilled with them.Found this video of the NewAge Performance Plus line if anyone needs a bit more of a visual.
I don't have any experience with the lower grade New Age cabinets but I have had their Pro series cabinets for well over 2 years now and have given them a good workout. They have really held up well and I would imagine their Performance Plus series are also well made cabinets.

again sry for bad pics
Found this video of the NewAge Performance Plus line if anyone needs a bit more of a visual.
The sales at Costco seem to be on "sets". I just need a bunch of singles.

Newage wants $529 CAD
Costco wants $499 CAD
On Black Friday Newage had them for $349 CAD each. Now the best they will do is $476 CAD.
Since I'm planning to buy 6 or 7 I'll wait for the right price.

If you bought 7 from me (shopstoragecabinets.com) they would go for 399.99 each. Check out my build your own page for more information.

I'll deliver in the continental United States. At this point that doesn't include Canada.

Hey now your thinking. I often buy across the border to leverage the exchange rate. I gotta find someone in Canada who will ship to the US.
The pricing is so effin confusing. Everyone has totally different combinations. Performance, performance plus, performance plus diamond yada. Why cant it just be level 1,2,3,4,5 etc. Now I'm gonna have to go look at Saber just cause they're so fricken confusion. End rant.

NewAge makes sets for individual retailers, that way Costco and Home Depot don't compete on prices. The prices they offer to smaller distributors like myself are based on each order. The Performance and Bold Series are smaller and made of lighter gauge material. Performance Plus and the Pro Series cabinets larger and heavier.

New Age is currently offering a ~30% off sale on a variety of cabinets. It happens to include the tool and base Performance Plus cabinets I'm interested in. I'll be placing an order.
Sale ends Feb 29th, 2016.
