Just purchased a Invertek ODP-12020-USA-I55S off Ebay

2HP AC drive
IP55 / NEMA 12 Washdown duty inverter
Single phase supply
Input: 220-240V single phase, 50/60Hz, 20A (Peak)
Output: 3 Phase, 0-250V, 7.0A, 0-2000
Has internal EMC filter

Questions...

I purchased reactors, one for the supply side (MTE Corp rated 25 amp), and one for the load side, MTE CORP. RL-00802 rated 8 amps. The load side will be connected to older/non VFD rated machine motors ( Delta drill press/Baldor carbide grinder) individually, one at a time. Does anyone use reactors on the load side, for 220-240v?

Would anyone worry about shielded cable from the VFD to the motors used ?, we are only talking 15 feet to the motors at most. The VFD and reactors will be mounted in a sufficient sized enclosure, thus the 15ft.

For the 17" Delta drill press, I figure I will order a 2hp motor 3ph 6.5 amps motor, I figure I am within hp specs of the VFD output, so I should not have any issues, right? I have a 1hp 3p motor but I figure I will lose torque at very low speeds with the 1hp.
Thanks

No - theyre rarely used even in industry that Ive seen.

Not unless youre worried about hearing the radio over the drill, Im not. Personally, I always mount VFDs on the tool so I can unplug and move it wherever, whenever. FWIW, the electrical disconnect box is usually a nice place to put them.

I wouldnt bother replacing the motor, downshifting the drill is the proper thing to do and shouldnt take more than 20 seconds. With a bigger motor youre just making work for yourself, there isnt much need to fine-tune a drill's RPM so long as youre in the ballpark, you wont gain much torque at low RPM anyway (new Chinese does not equal old American hp, motor theory aside), and you also run the risk of breaking/wearing parts with the bigger motor.

Not worried about radio reception in the slightest, especially as the shielded cable is >$4/ft... one less expense.

Because I have limited resources I need to be be able to move it, though the drill press will probably be connected to it 95% of the time.

That a risk I worry about, the 17" spindle is 17mm at the bearing, not a lot of meat.
