Post some pics of the ratchet here; someone maybe could send you a new gear or rebuild kit.... for that matter, send it here and we'll send you a new one exchanged from Sears! LOL! It depends on the vintage of the ratchet; some are discontinued and don't have rebuild kits made for them anymore... in that case, you could use a used part to get you back up and running! :)

You could try soaking it in penetrating fluid, transmission fluid or something like that; the button is peened into the gear, so I don't think you can take it apart... post some pics and maybe we can see if someone has some parts for you! :)

I've wondered where to get rebuild kits for CMan "V" ratchets from. Does Sears still have these,or are they things of the past. I sure don't want to exchange for new ones. Thanks

SO lets see what we can work out here......

My wife travels to Europe a LOT. As a matter of fact, she is heading to Paris next week. Now, how much would it cost for her to mail it from France, to you? Shoot me a picture and I'll see if I have a used one sitting here OR if I can dig you up a rebuild kit. No promises, but might as well give it a try!
