Anybody familiar with these things?? I was given 3 of them, new still in the plastic. They are fairly hefty, certainly not the flimsy pos I am used to and they look to be pretty pricey Grainger has them at $31 and amazon has them at $35. Personally I have never had a caulk gun that lasted more than a couple of tubes so I am curious about these things....

It's probably going to last more then 2 tubes....
I bought a cheap one years ago for a quick 1 off job in an apartment, flimsy POS.
I "broke down" and bought a real caulk gun a few years back, night and day..super smooth, dispenses anything from latex caulk up to super thick cold construction adhesives. Well worth the $30 premium.

Zoro has it for $25.48. I have had one for 4 to 5 years. I use often and no complaints. They do seem to be well made and will stand up to heavy duty usage.

255 is the larger capacity version of the 250, which I have and have used without any issue for quite a while. The larger thrust ratio, to me, seems to be smoother and definitely helps when using a more viscous adhesive. It's also easy to clean.
everything I have seen online about them has been positive. I like that the cage rotates, should be helpful in tight areas and the 18:1 ratio is way beyond the cheesy stamped ones ive been using. ... Thanks for the input guys!!
