If the concrete curbs are the same thickness as your walls then it will make it easier to put tool boxes etc flush with the wall. My garage has a beam running around the perimiter that is thicker than the wall and intrudes a few inches on the interior. It's only a couple inches high but its a hassle for locating stuff against the wall.

The man door near the garage door opens right into a car parked in that bay. If there will be a lift in the bay you will have to squeeze past it and the car to get to the back half of the garage.

I recommend laying it out in sketchup or similar or even to scale on paper and putting cars in there.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. The plan would be to have the curb protrude very little in the garage. Right now no plans to have a lift in the front of the garage, but in the back of the garage.

What do you recommend for the front man door? I dont have the space unfortunately at the front with the garage door scheme i plan on.
