Since I already have a set of digital caliper, I'd probably use that fraction/decimal conversion more than anything.

Cool, very cool.

Coincidence: I was handling an Executive Pocket Chum (not that one) at a second-had store this Saturday! They wanted $25 for it, and no case :(

You are missing the bar that holds the tubing for the flaring tool and the inserts to make double flares on steel brake lines.

I had no idea you could use inserts for double-flares! I've only seen dedicated tools.
Yea that's the old school way, you have to start by using the thickness of the head of the insert to set the tubing height above the holder bar or it won't come out right.

I'm kind of an old-school guy. I'll have to look into some of those inserts. Do they make them for the other styles? Bubble, etc?

I've had a set of those calipers for decades - very handy. I found brass (appearing) ones at Home Depot recently, if any one wants new ones. They aren't the same brand, but they are readily available.

I have that insert style flaring set too. If the OP ever uses it, I suggest using the flat side of the inserts to ensure the "bars" are in the same plane for an even flare.

A buddy of mine just picket up one of these at Jacktown. Who will be #3? (I realize this is a Garage Sale inside joke, so calling @Private Lugnutz in case he misses this thread)
