and - no, go out and buy a drill press is the wrong answer = LOL
Here's the deal-
I have several 3/8" round wooden dowels I want put into a 2" x 2" x 8' piece of wood.
The problem is: I want to drill holes to put the dowels into the wood, and
I want them all exactly at the same angle.
But I don't have a drill press or know anyone that does ....
I have a replica set of NASCAR flags and was planning on putting them on the dowels (like mini flag poles) and mount the "mini flag poles" on the larger piece of wood.
Then I would be able to mount the wood on the wall inside the garage.
Originally, I was going to try to drill them all at the same angle, but figured if I could even drill them all straight down, I could mount the long piece of wood with some small "L" brackets, and bend them so the long piece of wood could be whatever angle I want to flags to actually hang from ...
But I need to drill all the holes exactly the same, or the flags will not be equally straight.
Open to suggestions
TIA
