That's how I figured it worked but was just curious about where it would be used. Maybe some kind of front end work? Flats are 1 7/16" and 13/16"For holding one nut while turning another perchance? Measure across the flats. Hold the outer, tighten the inner with a ratchet?
I clearly didn't pay attention to the first pic where it is standing on the floor near a chair!I should have put something in pic for size reference. It is 1/2 drive and about 18" long. That would be for a big valve!!

normal residential size burners use a 3/4 & 5/8 double wrench, I think. Whatever that is for, it's a big thing.Maybe. Never worked on one
