Sounds like you're stuck paying more at the oil distributor then.

I go to the Fuel Oil Supplier and buy bulk varsol. I bring my own 5 gallon cans, fill them up. Ten gallons will last a long time if you use your parts cleaner wisely. Scrape off the heavy deposits first, before you use the cleaner. I scape mine into the can where I store old oil. When I plan a trip into the recycling center, they have a tank for old oil. County run recycling center... keeps the oil, etc, out of the ground water.

My local TS, has 3 fresh plastic jugs on the rack last weekend. I bought them out a few months ago. So it appears they are still shipping it to stores

Woo Hoo!!!

Can finally get the PSC 1000 in Oklahoma again. It is still 5 gallons, and unbelievably, the price has not gone up in 10 years.
Plastic can instead of the old metal.
The stores still do not stock it, but I can order online and it is in the store ready for pick up in a few days.

Just talked to TSC, there looking into the distribution issue to the local stores, stores are empty and when you try to buy online, is says not available to be delivered to that store, or purchased online, TSC says its not being discontinued at the moment,

Tried two tractor supply stores for this:

Crown PSC 1000 Parts Cleaner, 5 Gal., PSC1000MOS​

Both were out. Just did an internet search for every store in this area. Not available, even by special order.

I really like this stuff. Low odor, cleaned well, and reasonably priced.

What are you guys doing for solvent besides Kerosene?

Try a oil supplier distributor. Or go non working green.

Just FYI on my end,

Called TSC corporate and they said it's not on clearance or discontinued, they were supposed to get back with me............

Called Crown the makers of PSC1000, I was informed there were multiple PO's open and being filled for TSC, Last night I got on TSC website and ordered more, and got a conformation on order and shipment to my store, so, its out there, just have to get it to the store!!!

One advantage of living in the boondocks, my store has it in stock, with many to spare.
