So it's been what 2 or 3 month since the new snap-on site has been up and it seem to me no one is leaving any reviews on the tools we all love (at least I do:D) It's a no brainer. When I need to research for a new tool I go straight to The Garage Journal, but regardless it would be nice to see up a few reviews... Anyone else notice the same thing on the site or has anyone bump in to one lately?

Too hard to find what you're looking for let alone leave a review for it. If I could only leave a review for the website itself.

You're not seeing any reviews because people quit buying Snap-on tools. They're too busy talking about their Carlyle and GearWrench ratchets that jam up and become boat anchors overnight.

No, people have finally realized that the Matco 88s are superior to Snap on Dual 80s.

I can't stand the new design. It's so hard to research and look for things under categories. For me anyway
...
The old site just seem so much easier to navigate and the new one leaves a lot missing I feel

Yeah the new site is a pain to go through. Reason I brought it up was because I've been looking to get a 1/2 drive ratchet and of course snap on is my first choice, but I aside from trying to find the quick release version of the ratchet. I notice the review section, but ha no review!?

It's not quite so bad if you already have the catalog number and enter it in the search box but otherwise I can't find **** on there. It's like ******* up a rope.

We only get the old site in the uk. But there's loads of stuff I see on here and on the new US site that just isn't available.

I sent snap on several emails about this but I never get any replies.

I would bet that site is very low volume. Few people actually buy anything on it, even less leave reviews.

I'm not a big fan of the new site at all.

As for customer added reviews, who has the time to do them.
Professional uses and contract buyers already know what is good and bad with 95% of it good to awesome.

If you're buying a TV thru Best Buy, sure, reviews may help.

I don't see Ford having customer reviews for each of it's cars on its own site. Nor Chevy, or Sony, or Apple, etc.

In most cases you get to hold the Snap-On tool before buying and often work with others who have either owned the tool or have at least used one.

I don't need some one time buyer online cyber fucktard to review a Snap-On tool when I can get far better feedback from humans in person at work or from the driver.

Reviews are for third party re-sellers and comapanies that need self reassurance, neither of which fit the Snap-On bill.
I'm surprised the have it at all.

I quit buying mac tools because of the Rockwell hardness test on their tools compared to snap on. snap on has the best quality tools as far as metal.

Where is this testing? I've had some pretty immense weight on some of my MAC wrenches and never seen them show any signs of fatigue.
