I purchased a Reznor FE100 heater from a friend last year. It ran when we took it down. It sat in my garage until recently when I hung it and got gas and electric to it. It is fueled by propane. So I have my propane supply and I purged the line of air to the ball valve just before the gas control. I have electric hooked up and a working thermostat. When I turn it on the main fan activates. However it will not light at the pilot. I imagine there would be some sort of clicking to know the igniter is trying to ignite the pilot but nothing? I do have the main gas line open and the gas control turned to on. I just don't know what is going on in the controller and what things need to be met for other functions to work. I pulled the thermocouple, pilot and igniter "pod" down. All looks clean and the igniter gap is within spec of .100. I'm just trying to go one step at a time. Could I match lite the pilot to prove gas is flow to it?
I appreciate any tips and thank you!
