No direct experience, though, I'd imagine they can't be any worse than any other discount set (like the Crescent bundles sold at Costco, etc).

I gotta say, I'm a HUUUUGE fan of these:

They're about 5 times the cost of what you linked (but cheap, in the grand scheme of tool pricing), and I'm finding that I like them better than my Craftsman Professional wrenches (which are utterly fantastic wrenches with near-universal good reviews).

I don't have THAT set, but I have the individual sets with the roll up pouches. I love them and highly recommend them.

I have a set of the stubbies from Norhtern and I cant complain. I don't use them every day, except the 7/16". For the price you can't beat them if you look you usually can get a $5 off coupon.

I have some full polish angle head ones. They get by when I need them, but honestly the finish is poor, and some you can see pitting in the area where the bolt would come into contact. But, they are cheap....

I just dont understand why they would not include the 7/16, the 11mm and 14mm. But yet they give it to you in the stubby size. I wish they would just offer the complete set of both standard and metric.... I hate sets with gaps.

I have a set of polished angle wrenches from Northern, besides them being a little short they are great. I use them everyday without a hitch

Good to hear!

That's my biggest beef. I don't know how easy it is to buy singles from NT . . . . :headscrat

I have a few of the Northern Tool full polish wrenches and they are actually pretty good. For the money, they are excellent.

Coach

Thanks - they look pretty decent to me. I'm just trying to determine if there is something better for the money.
