so the pool house room whatever we are calling it this week is done. the fireplace is mostly done. pizza oven that goes to the left of it well its going to have to wait till next year. so I had to get a dragon, going to probably get another one in the spring. Love them.
Insulation is in the walls in the auto section. End up using almost twice as much insulation as I figured. The packing in the walls really burned through the bags. Anyways soffits are closed up so I feel good. Should start painting next week. Hopefully. Gotta get the compressor moved and doors up and such. Lots of small stuff tjat eats time...
Thinking I am going to go with red trim. To match my storage cabinets.
So the shop is insulated. My useless help didn't show yesterday or today so I had to do it myself. Seeing as how I already had the blower and 14 bags of insulation that i picked up the night before I figured why waste a days rental. So the machine wouldn’t jam I ended up having to cut each bag into 3rds. This is the path I had to take each time. And I had to do it fast or the machine would be empty and I would have to just rake it around and that just compacts it. Anyways it was up the ladder then hurdle 2 trusses that are just crotch high for me then boost my crippled *** up the bulk head then walk the bridge crouched cause I am 6’5” then walk the joists to get far enough. 3 times a bag. 14 yesterday and 21 today. **** me I am tired and I hurt. Big dogs are not ment to do that ****.
oh and all the insulation not in the attic is what happens when the pile it is building gets to dense and builds up too much preasure (me moving to damn slow through the F'ing obstacle course) anyways the hose blows apart at the coupling. That happened 3 times. thought about taping it together but figured it would plug then and that would be a bigger mess.
So I need someone to bring me clean skivies. Somehow I pinched or skined the wire screwing the thermostat in. scarred the heck out of me. Now I cant get the thought of my shop in flames out of my head
Small world huh 2nrguy. hey You are not the guy who was shooting Rapid fire style at 7am yesterday clip after clip after clip were you? Cause I was trying to sleep.
JJ if the saw the doors were Red I would want to paint them black. sorry I'm a stones fan. I was thinking maybe black because the upper cabinets might get painted black. Not sure I don't want to close it in to much visually.
the stude is waiting to be grafted to the poop brown ratvette chassis that I have sitting. the motor from the vette is going in the lincoln. I love the concept of a GM motor in it and I like the look of TPI. want to slide a twin turbo a straight or slant 6 in the Stude. To me the bullet nose looks like a P-38
Oh typical in a hurry . I was putting a door handle on and running 3 inch screws in the strike plate and it slipped off and I put the tip in my finger. Amazing the damage a non sharp spinning objact can do. Have superglue and making tape so I could still work.
Well that was painfull. The zinzer is always the worst part. Took about 12 gals. then a heavy coat of drywall primer and then some good valspar paint then lights and heat and alarm and lift and shelving in attic and oh **** I got a lot to do
That moment when you are standing in from of your pain meds and you realize that you don’t know if you took some or were going to take some because you hurt so bad.
Oh well 10 more gallons to go. Hopefully cause thats all I have
15 gals of valspar signature paint. 1 coat on the ceiling and 2 coats on the walls.
I ended up putting a piece of the metal tape over that green spot on the ceiling that kept bleeding through. even tried some rustolum rattle can spry paint and it bled through that. I sprayed the enamel over a few spots where the OSB strand bled through. you could see the chip. fixed it. then rolled the final coat over the top. I used dutch boy in the other rooms and what a coverage diff. now I just used the mid level dutchboy but you get what you pay for.
Between the paint drying and the kerosene heater the humidity is a huge problem. The wind is so bad the last 2 days the door is leaking at the top where it is bowing in. No garage door opener. Anywaysvit was causing the wall to sweat and it dripped and ran down the outside of the door now I have white streaks. I was sick when I came home. It is going to warm up in a few days so I hope I can clean it off.
Painted. Hanging lights cord reels and hose reels. Putting recepticas in. **** takes forever. Trying to figure out where the middle lights need to be. And I need to put 2 by the door. Nothing worse then buffing a car and not being able to see the back.
Where the shops boobatron will be mounted. Probably more a **** and leggs and cool caratron but you get the point. I am a saver so my slide show is epic
