I never used NTXtools.com (Network tool warehouse) before and tried to search for a thread on here before asking any questions but I couldn't find anything.

Are these guys good to go or are they trouble? How fast are they to ship?

I am wanting to get some more SK tools and they have 2 items that Tooltopia don't carry or have listed.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was curious about them as well, I was thinking about picking up an IR battery powered impact from them, but have never heard about them.

I have purchased tools from them in the past and always got what I ordered in a timely fashion.

I was going to order a TQ wrench from them a while back but after doing some research I didn't read very many good reviews so I went elsewhere.

I placed an order from them that turned into a backorder situation, but the communication was good and I was given a direct line to the salesman handling my order so I could easily check on the status, but they also sent updates via email. Although the order took over 3 weeks to ship, in the end I was very happy with the service and the prices were the best I could find. Also, I did order a large quantity of a few items, so the backorder was pretty understandable.

I plan to do business with them again.

I like them. Their prices are great and they have good sales from time to time. Only complaint that I have is they don't give email conformation of your items being shipped or provide a tracking number.

I ordered from them once and wouldn't again. I got what I paid for but it took over a month and several items were never shipped (I wasn't charged). No communication from them.

I got scared off by the reviews online (google) and just went with Tooltopia. I have had good experiences with them so far.

Has anyone picked up any of their impact sockets? I was checking out their wooble impacts. They don't look bad at a decent price.

Just don't confuse them with http://www.coastaltool.com/ here in CT.
Our Coastal Tool has a great website and is an actual brick and mortar company just near Hartford. That other place sounds like a sham.

1+ I was thinking about that when I read dontbuyfromNTX's other post.
Coastaltool.com is a good place to buy, I order there for for quite some years now and never had a problem.

I tried to order a harmonic balancer puller from USAtoolwarehouse on ebay, this put me on the NTXtools email list so I'm guessing they are the same company.

I was a little frustrated with my order and won't do business with them in the future. The item they listed on ebay wasn't in their possession and after waiting patiently for the up to 20 days they said it may take to arrive I still had no puller. Contacted them only to find it was on backorder, they gave me no notification of this and since it was an ebay "buy it now" I assumed they had the item on hand that they were selling. I cancelled my order and they did refund my money without issue, but still was poor communication and not a pleasant experience.

They do seem to be the same. I bought some SK flare wrenches (and had even posted it in the "hot deals" forum), but soon thereafter I started getting their spam. No problems getting my order though.

I almost ordered those same wrenches, good deal!

They were fine to deal with once I called them, and refunded my money right away. I just got worked up over the principle of listing an item on ebay and not actually having the item in their possession to ship. I know lots of sellers do this, but its frustrating when you're expecting a part or tool in a certain timeframe. For me it cost me money to drive my truck to work for 3 weeks while my car was out of service waiting for the tool I needed. I picked one up locally as soon as I cancelled the order.

d.b.f.NTX, are you a disgruntled ex-employee, family member or a seriously dissatified customer? Possibly work for the competition?

It helps to understand who you are before weighing your commentary. I know nothing about you or them but at least they have a mixed history while you have none that we can see.

I guess I like to get to know something about both teams before placing my bets.

If I recall, Ebay requires that sellers actually have the item in hand before advertising it for auction. Placing the order on back order after it has been bid on is a violation and should be reported to Ebay.

Updating this from the Hot Deals thread... see here for why I highly recommend you don't purchase from Network Tool Warehouse.

Their "parent company" name is Coastal Tool Supply in Seattle, but they operate in Ohio. None of the names I searched were registered businesses in either Ohio nor Washington. They are also America's Tool Warehouse, etoolpros, and some others I'm sure.

See their Ripoff Report complaints, Reseller Ratings, BBB F, or just search their name on Google.
