Nugier H40-7

Picked up a Nugier H40-7. I got a few missing parts from the company but they don't have any information on how the table lift cable routes. Looking for some help, pictures or advice on how to properly route the cable. Thanks

Thanks RTM ,,, I started with that thread and looked the scanned manual. Unfortunately there is any info there that show the cable route. It's odd because everything else it pretty intuitive.

Not owning a press, much less a Nugier H40-7, but looking at pix on the web, here is my guess. I’ve used a press like this over 35 years ago, so this sorta makes sense.

Looking at this image here, it appears the near side just drops straight to the cross bolt.

Then looking at the last photo from the previous link, last message, I would guess the opposite side goes up, through the two #12 pulleys.

This page, last photo, seems to show the cable running against one of the top beams. Not sure what holds the #12 pulleys in place, or if it just free floats on the #14/bolt.

Thanks for digging! That last picture may hold the key. I'll check the pulleys that ride on top bolts and see if they move front to back. If they do it will allow the cable to route between the top beam and the press springs like the picture. The routing will make a lot more sense this way .. I'll post tomorrow with an update!

That's the route! I pulled the the bolt on the right side that supports the pulley. It's the only way to free up the cable and get it up above the the bottom of the press piston. I slid the pulleys toward the back and routed the cable to the back between the top beam and the springs. I'll assemble the bed once I get some new bolts, loop the cables ends around the stand off and I'll be pressing! Thanks for the assist!
