I wanted to thank everyone at GJ for there business, from now all sales will be through the web site (www.german-hand-tools.com) or direct link http://www.german-hand-tools.com/nws-products.html, all NWS tools on there are in stock unless stated. I am working on a huge order so I can have most of the more popular tools in stock I will take any suggestions on what people are intrested in. I have posted some pics of latest shipment from NWS.

If you have any questions please call me at 916-417-8252, email at [email protected], or pm me.

More info on tools at http://www.nws-tools.com/

The Titan finish is a PTFE Teflon coating which is a highly resistant to heat, corrosion, and chemicals. It is like the Teflon coating on pans, it is not a black oxide finish

just ordered the black/yellow ergo combination pliers and the black/yellow/grey fantastico cutters in the pictures above last night. This is also my first sampling of the NWS goodness and if they live up to the hype (as I'm quite sure they will) I will definitely be picking up more from Ash. Seems like a great guy and answered all my questions promptly. can't wait!!

I bought some NWS fantastico cutters and cable cutters for work and I have to say that the service was awesome, and I received my shipment in 2 days from ordering off of his website. The tools are fantastic and in exceptional quality, will buy again soon.

Looks great! And I think it fills a nice little niche around here :)

I saw the 3 pc. no-mar socket set -- who makes those? German-made, yes? They were on the home page, IIRC, but can't find them now.

Wish I'd have known about them previously -- just got a cheapie (Astro I think it was) for 17mm.

Does NWS make any no-mar curved pliers? Like the Blue Point ones with the urethane/plastic/rubber replaceable jaws?

And forgive the question, not necessarily directed toward the OP, but how competitive is the pricing on the NWS gear here? I've bought a few things in the past (via a classifieds thread) as was quite happy with the quality.

Would you mind sharing some information about the NWS tool warranty with me? Specifically; how long is the warranty and what do we do if we need warranty service on a NWS plier? Thank you, I'm really looking forward to trying some out.

Thanks,
The socket set is by BGS and it is made in Taiwan. Majority on the BGS is made in taiwan under BGS control all of the BGS has a lifetime warranty.

NWS does make the same curved pliers but they do not have the urethane cushion part, here is a link for it

NWS prices lowered, very competitive now

Thanks Ash

The NWS warranty is 5 years, most German companies do not have a lifetime warranty in Germany only some have it for the US market and that might be the case for NWS later on down the road, but you should not have any problems with there tools they are very high quality. All the tools I stock are all checked so when I ship it out it is going to be defect free and I doubt it will ever brake on you unless they are used the way they are not designed for. I am working with NWS Germany on the details for warranty service, but it should be where I would just warranty it for you and you wouldn't have to send it back to Germany.

Thanks Ash

Hey Ash,

Your website is showing 140-69-205 and 141-69-205 as "On Order".

Any ETA on those? Can you post up here where they're in?

They are arriving this following week. But there is no shipping 7-25-11 through 7-30-11 as we are going to be out of the country on business any orders placed between those dates will be shipped 8-1-11.
Thanks Ash

Just a note that I bought a couple sets from ash on the classifieds here and his service and NWS quality are both as good as I have experienced.

ash95608:

Is ITEM # 1096-49-200 and ITEM # 1406-49-200 as shown in the picture? Or do you carry the older style, just black & yellow handles?

Thanks!
