One of my flea market finds today was creeper made entire of stamped steel. It looks kind of old but maybe not ancient. Picture a red platform that looks like a big cookie sheet with rolled edges. No stamps or manufacturer info on it.
The body has extra holes to locate the heavy duty casters closer or further out forward or back. Comes with the usual covered foam head rest which is stationary. I'd love to know who and when it was made.

I suspect those aren't the OEM casters, probably 1 or more failed, and the owner redrilled it for whatever casters he had or could easily find.

I agree with 454, it explains the extra holes. Have you measured the distance between the other holes? From the pictures it doesn't look like the casters on it would fit in the other holes.

You know I also looked at that one in the pic from tlxch on the day I bought it. Close but no cigar. I hear what the other posters are saying about it.They could be right. Looking at the dimples in the area of the wheels indicates a step to strengthen it for wheels. The casters are mfd. by Bassick Co. who was a major supplier of industrial casters.
Hey for the $10.00 I'll hang it on the garage wall.
