I'm considering some ratcheting flare nut wrenches and saw these from Mobiledistributorsupply.com. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them. I can't seem to find where they are manufactured.

I bought some OEM Tools air couplers for my compressor.
They flowed air OK until they broke (which was shortly after)

They compete directly with powerbuilt. Lower end stuff. I haven't tried the flare nut wrenches explicitly.

Hey neighbor Fedwrench, I've got the ASTRO set and I'd be willing to lend them to you to try out. Just drop over at lunch time and I'll hand them over to you for you to give them a try. No strings attached. I haven't used them yet and I'd like to know if they're any good or not myself. The Gearwrench versions truly **** that much I know for a fact.

Advance Auto Parts handles OEM tools. I only bought one of their tools a 12 pt. 34mm axle socket. Needed it for a big recall on Ford Transit Vans. Works OK for $10, but the nut I was taking off was only torqued to 60 ftlbs..

Many HF tools are better.

Has anyone found a decent ratcheting flare nut wrench? Let me know because I haven't found one. :dunno:

Have you tried the OEMs and gone to the metal snap ring?

I really think OEM was barking up the CORRECT tree w this design, generally speaking.

I keep meaning to order the Princess Auto metrics as the OEM metrics seem to be 100% non-existent in this country.

As I said in the other thread I was doing an '02 Taco steering rack and BEGGING for something exactly like this. That said, I managed to complete the job without them but it sucked. And I would have needed metric which I still can't get.
