jsackin,

You should probably add the Armstrong offer to the original post with all the info.

So who's willing to bet whether we crash the site at midnight?

Wouldnt be surprised, i kinda rushed to make sure i got an armstrong shirt. Still managed to throw in an sk 19/21mm flare wrench to expand my old craftsman pro/sk set. Got off cheap anyway, some of the long pattern sk wrench sets are good deals as far as i could tell, especially the 6-24mm long patterns. Still thinking about it ;)

Jsackin, do you guys sell the sk x frames yet? Couldnt find them on the site.

Edit order # 100000064

I have the long pattern set 6-24mm and find them to be a good length and good quality, you wouldn't go wrong with them. I have a 23 and 24 mm Wright grip wrench and both brands are on par with each other. I do have to say the wright grip might be better at more stubborn fasteners. I say that with only DIY autorepair under my belt. The long pattern came in handy changing rear sway bar links to have the extra leverage with a ratchet.

Cool, I've heard the sk longpatterns arent as long as some of the other companies long pattern wrenches. I have a set of mac knucklesavers, only 10-19 that i think are long pattern,
m17clks example part# and they are a good length. Way longer than raised panel craftsmans. It will probably be wright or sk when i jump on a full set. The wrightgrip openends do seem to be the only thing as well loved as fd+. Im not sure if they make a long set though, have to check.

I asked for duck hunter box art - I'm nearly as pumped for the box as I am the tools!

Order 100000072.

can't wait for the new wrightgrip wrenches to come knocking on my door. I kept going back and forth between satin and full polish, So I ended up getting an SAE set in satin and a metric set in full polish.

Also got some channel lock stuff, SK locking extensions and scraper set, some hose clamps, and one heck of a hefty estwing hammer.

100000084 here! I spent waaaay too much money but it's totally going to be worth it!

This is my first epsteins day order how long does it usually take to get the tools that I ordered since I'm sure garage journal orders will just about drown epsteins employees?

Order 100000087

Wish there was more Armstrong I needed, love the shirt, but definitely don't have an extra $75+ to spend on it at the moment (at least on what's listed). All set on SK and Channellock though!:D

Only problem is I never saw a box to leave a comment in so didn't, it could be because I used PayPal or I just missed it on the new site.

I somehow finished my order without seeing the comment box. My shirt size is a large if any are left and you guys catch this. Not too concerned so I'm not going to call you guys to bug you about it. Thanks for pushing USA products! Stoked to finally get the Armstrong 1/2" flex. I work on 4x4s and have been wanting for that forever Haha.

If you guys have time for box art, we've been getting tons of thunderstorms here lately and our border collies are terrified of it. They hide in a corner and try to bury their head. The girlfriend would probably think it was hilarious to see a satirical take on thatthat, which would probably distract her from more tools showing up Haha.

100000093 and I am very proud to say EVERY item that I bought was 100% made in the United States of America. I wish I could have bought some Armstrong items, but at this point, I had to pass. Very neat shirt, but I just couldn't justify this at this time.

Thank you very much Jori, SK, Wright and even Armstrong. This is a great way to keep America strong as we need these jobs in the USA.

My pocketbook is happy I didn't see the post about the Armstrong t shirts. I do like the shirt though. Oh well.

I haven't placed order yet.

Here you go -

:see:

Epstein's Day isn't a "get a deal day". It's our way of supporting US jobs by buying US made tools (primarily) from a US business that supports the US economy.

That's why it is traditionally held on july 4th. This year it had to be pushed back a week to July 11th to allow HJE's new website to launch.

This event (like most GJ events) isn't about what we can get, it's about what we can do to support the economy by supporting US businesses or manufacturers.

The giveaways are just HJE's and the Manufacturer's way of saying thank you back.

Some background for you, When it began - 2012
