MB take a filter carterage on the front top of the engine
the bottom of the car has areodynamic panels on the bottom of the car. I would suspect this is why there is not a drain plug.

Your Mercedes has a drain plug, using the extractor does not allow any sludge build up at the bottom of the oil pan to drain out, it will mix and contaminate your new oil, if you do this to much it will be like leaving sand in the bottom of your oil pan.
I removed the belly pans and there is no drain plug. I checked the internet to find post from similar CLK owners and the answer was to use an extractor or remove the access plate on the bottom of the oil pan ( which some guys were doing)
yes posted here asking the question and then was looking around on the web
I wondered of HF would have one but actually didnt think so.
they did and they even had a few locally so I figured what the heck
they have a 30 day return policy so if I dont like it....
