i have a bunch of used up 134a bottles. I look at these things and think that there must be something i could do with these. i Know technically i am supposed to dispose of them.... but making something out of them would be more fun IMO. any ideas?...

Pressure feed sand blaster.
Portable air tank

Tere used to be a kit that would turn the older R12 tanks into portable air tanks

I think later tanks had a one way check valve in the top to prevent re-use. Verify there is one by trying to blow into it with a rubber tip air gun to fill it- I bet you can't....

Hi all
I need 20 old 134A gas bottles 12kg+
I will gladly give £5 per bottle and collect them within London.
If it's outside the M25 I wouldn't want to buy them as fuel costs would come into play.

If your willing to help get in touch thanks.
I also need a couple of 15kg blew gas bottles for my heaters if you are looking to get rid.

Make a gearbox filler device.

I put a dip tube in one, filled it with 90 wt. gear oil, and then apply < 20psi to the tank. I added a long hose and a ball valve. I can set up the tank on the garage floor, climb under the truck, and fill the transmission and transfer case (and diffs) like a pro.

I wrote '20 PSI Max' on the top of the tank with a paint pen, to remind myself not to apply shop air to this device. That could make a big mess.

Send them to me.

I got a lady who owns an antique shop. She has this one sitting out front.

She claims she could have sold it 30 times over. I'm tasked with welding up a bunch.

Ditto. If you can find older tanks before the check valves, maybe.

I did find an older can partially filled and - when I used up the R22 - kept the tank for some other project. Went to remove the stock valve on top to put something more user-friendly in it's place, but ended up screwing up the tank. Dang it.
